One example is custom restaurant tableware. We collaborate with leading chefs to create bespoke designs that are specific to a particular dish or reflect the restaurant to create a special experience for diners. We start with a few ideas and make prototypes. This is usually the beginning of the project.

After the shape has been decided, the next stage is to find the right clay / material that will have the right performance. Then decisions must be made regarding the drying cycle, firing strategy, glazing, and decoration . To take so many things to consideration can be a tough call sometimes - but experimenting is a great fun and we love it! 🥰

Products for restaurants can have a very tough usage and the requirements are very demanding. Items must be tested for robustness and longevity.

We regularly design new products to add to our existing collection. Our Library of samples already contains around 40 products. If you like one of our designs but want to change it to fit your specific requirements (like size or finish) then we will happily do it for you 💥

All of our products are hand made in Cambridge in our small studio . So we can say it’s a small artisan production and we are very proud of it .

The development of a new product can be a time consuming process. So on occasion it can be difficult to come with definite time frame . Sometimes it’s super quick and easy - others it’s long journey until you finally say EUREKA!
